I just voted for the bug because I experience this too. We need to determine a workaround for this. The default alarm startles me every morning I hear it instead of being woken up gently by my chosen alarm.
What causes the Squeezebox server to go into standby mode? Is this the computer going into standby mode or the server software going into standby?
