I installed 7.5 last night but can't remember this morning if the alarm faded in or the song started softly. I do plan to lower the maximum alarm volume as the song I picked was too loud. I have set up a playlist call alarm and just pick a differnt song every few days/weeks.
Will try and determine it tomorrow morning.
