Whenever I visit the inlaws, I grab my Radio from work, and take it along with me. It remembers the network name at the inlaws as well as the key and is online as soon as I plug it in.
So, um, yeah it drops Wifi when I unplug it and toss it in the car for a couple hours. It comes right back when I take it out of the car and plug it back in.
