the volume adjustment (-12.56db) is either the soundcheck value added within itunes or could be from a replaygain track/album value. if you ripped your CDs in itunes, this would be the soundcheck value. Nothing wrong with having this (this is how SqueezeBox equalizes volume when you allow it to use this info (as you noted, you can turn this on and off). Regarding internet radio: This is problem unrelated to your setup. It is on the internet radio stream end (the radio station). For example, on my end, RadioParadise streams are very loud while my local NPR station stream is very low. I can see this easily when I'm looking at the VU meter on my transporter. It would be nice to have some sort of volume equalizer that would work on streams themselves, but I think the radio station would have to add this info to the stream. Not sure. But bottom line, this is not something wrong with your system or settings. -- garym ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77502 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
