Hi I'm trying to set this control but it seems that the setting only dims the display in the 100% - 80% range, from then on down nothing changes.
A forum search turned up an aside comment that "(This is to prevent jumps while using the slider.)" but I just don't understand that, especially since the Manual Brightness control reduces the visible brightness just fine. It just seems bizarre to have a control that does mostly nothing ...
