When I finally got my battery pack I was disappointed with the battery life. I noticed that after playing my radio for only a few minutes the battery meter had drained down significantly. I would plug it in and charge it over night and the same thing would happen the next day.
Here is the reason why... Just plugging in the power cord does NOT start charging the battery. The power must be "on" although the radio does not need to be playing. In other words if your screen is completely blank because the unit is powered down it will not charge. It must be in the standby mode with your clock or other screensaver displayed.
