I'm on 7.5 and it also seems most of my problems are fixed. Had a BBQ last night and took it outside and it worked fine the whole evening, perfect synch with my mp3tunes library and my Boom + SB2.
A couple of weeks ago I would have been lucky to get it going, and if so it would only last a few minutes.
