This has been covered in other threads, but I can't find a definitive answer. And this is not complaint about functionality!
We have just got a Radio, and in general it is lovely. However, I am struggling with the alarm logic. I run SBS 7.5.0 on a Synology NAS (7.5.1 is not released for the SYnology DS range yet, however when it is I know this might solve the problem). This powers on at 5:45am. My alarm is set to an internet radio stream (BBC Radio 4) at 6:30am. However, when the alarm sounds, as the server is not awake it defaults to a noise. Following a suggestion from iPhone on another thread this morning I asked the Radio to play some nice calming natural sounds at 6:25am to wake SBS up. We had the nice calming sounds, but at 6:30 we still had the default noise. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to wake SBS up early? And is there a wauy of chaging the default alarm sound to something less intrusive? Thanks - and sorry if this has been answered dorectly before - I have tried to look!
