If I had this problem, the first thing I would check is whether it is a
coincidence that it is the last device added to the circuit. Since there
is only one circuit, it is possible that all of the devices draw current
just below the level necessary to trip the breaker. One additional
device, drawing some additional current at the right time could "put it
over the top". 

The first thing I would try is to plug in something else instead of the
radio (like  some bright lights). See if that trips it. I'm not
electrician, but I cannot believe that the radio is drawing that much
current unless there is a physical short in it (in which case, you
should return it for a new one).
