Hi GiantNibble. Yes, I had this problem too and, together with the broken alarm clock, came to the conclusion that the Squeezebox Radio was a completely useless waste of a considerable amount of money. I'm playing FLAC files with Squeezebox Server running on a ReadyNAS Duo, by the way.
However, I've tried to remain optimistic given the other bad experiences reported in this forum, and have upgraded to version 7.5.1 of the software.
