I will vote for the bug. Logitech must had some major staff change in the last year or so. The development of software and bug fix is slow and new software often worse than before. For example, there used to be an option to fix the digital output volume and remote only change analogue volume. Now they don't even fix that. Anyway, I found a work around since the post. Not as good as before but better than nothing. If you go to settings and beta features, there is an option you could assign action to "IR # Hold" I assigned "play preset" for each of the buttons 1-6.
