I am having the same problem (for about a month now). I have 3 SBR's (all on 7.5.1 r9009) and all are having the same muting problem. If I power off/on I'm OK for a while - then mute.
I am also having a problem with Last.fm not playing but showing a "Last.fm Error, Audio stream disconnected, skipping to next track". I don't believe the two problems are related and will post that problem elsewhere.
