I have already done it a long time ago, just install third party Custom
Clock applet and select either the "Analog VU Meter" or "Spectrum Meter"
styles.

However, as aubuti says the CPU is a bit underpowered so you get moving
stuff but it's a bit slow to be completely in sync with the music. So if
you just want something moving on the display it works, if you want
something that's snappy and completely in sync with the music it
doesn't.
