I tried spoofing the MAC address of the squeezebox but had no success getting onto the network using it. Could I get the squeezebox to spoof my computer's MAC address? I tried adding the following lines to /etc/network/udhcpc_action:
# original radio MAC # /sbin/ifconfig $interface hw ether ##:##:##:##:##:## # my laptop /sbin/ifconfig $interface hw ether ##:##:##:##:##:## just before this line: /sbin/ifconfig $interface $ip $BROADCAST $NETMASK but it does not seem to accept it. When I reboot, it defaults to the factory MAC address. -- plzdontspamme ------------------------------------------------------------------------ plzdontspamme's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41195 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82917 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
