OK... I read through some of the postings here and it seems that *by design* the alarm will use the internal speaker for output, I guess people using headphones at night want to make sure they wake up in the morning.
But I don't use headphones, I use powered speakers, and I really like my music to come from both sides of my head when I hear it (for some reason I happen to have 2 ears). I couldn't find any configuration option to set alarms to go through the headphone jack. Any config file I could tweak through ssh? Thanks!
