I have problems with cordless headphones too, but it's not noise. Mine lacks volume. I can hardly hear anything, and the volume is set to high on both my SB, and my headphones. It seems to be a problem with the volume on the earphone jack in general. If I have normal earphones plugged in, I have to have the volume turned up to nearly full, and then have to turn it down again if I unplug them.
