Thanks for the input. My original comment is a great example of tortured syntax, for sure! What I was trying to say was that it is only when playing a podcast from WITHIN the Mediafly app that the FF and FR buttons don't work. The very same podcast played in the "Podcast Player" app will work fine. Also, I've noticed that the PAUSE button, actually does work. I haven't tested how long I can actually pause a stream and get back to it though. The FF/FR buttons still don't work, and if I try to press the FF button multiple times to force it, what happens is that it just jumps to the NEXT podcast in line on the Mediafly "Popular Channels" list. There is definitely some kind of bug, because if the above happens (jumping to the next podcast) there is NO getting back to the original one at all short of exiting Mediafly completely, choosing something else, like "My Music" and then trying to get back to Mediafly. Sounds like some kind of buggy interoperability problem. I know that sometimes Mediafly personnel monitor this site, so maybe one of then can chime in? I'd like a lot of things about the Mediafly app--lots of variety in a single "channel" as well as the fact that Mediafly automatically updates the programs in the channel to the latest version. Podcast Player keeps every Podcast available, which can be good if you want to catch up on missed ones....
