I got the squeeze radio. Hooked it up to wi-fi and it ran!

10 min later the wi-fi conncection and it was obvious that I wasn't
going to get it back up. Called Logitech. Answered immediately.
Amazed. In English. Told me how to reset it. Unplug, press the + and
then replug. Start over from scratch. Pain redoing the security wifi
number. Worked for 3 days then no wi-fi anywhere even next to the
router. Laptop gets wifi.

Logitech said it is a bad unit. Am returning to Crutchfield's and they
say they will send another unit even before the old one gets back.

So the question: I suspect there have been a lot of Wi-Fi difficulties
but some are not having many. So did I just get a bad one or is the
latest firmware screwed up or do I wait for the next model if the
second one I am getting also turns out to be also a wi-fi disaster?

I know I am getting ahead of myself, assuming the 2nd one might have
problems too. At least Crutchfield's is good about replacing or
refunding. But when I paid $125 shipped, maybe I should have thought
this is too good to be true. I like the concept, price, etc., but
without wi-fi forget. I ain't runnin' cable to my kitchen from my
office where the router is and 25 feet should not be too far for a
router and one suggestion that the cordless phone may be interfering
doesn't cut it as an excuse since at least phones are smart enough to
get around that problem and this product should be smart enough too.
Use another frequency.

So did I just get a bad one? Or is the problem more with the product
design?
