It may be an odd suggestion, but : Is it so difficult for the developpers to disable the automatic upgrade when the version is anterior ? (down grade) With, of course, letting the possibility for the user to make such a downgrade on his will... When you see the amount of people who cannot bear anymore the up-down-up-downgrade dance, I think this kind of feature could seriously improve the quality of the SB service in general. (Of course I understand that a simple upgrade of the SBS could solve their pb, but one could prefer wait one week or two before upgrading the sbs on his complicated NAS server...)
