I currently have a SB Touch as my main listening device. I would like to expand the system so that the family can listen elsewhere in the house but the touch is overkill for the bedroom or kitchen.
The SB Radio would seem perfect at first glance buy Why Oh Why does it not have at least an fm if not a dab tuner? To limit it to streamed radio only makes it a non starter in my opinion as constant streaming, in the uk at least, will take us close to our broadband download limits and into throttling territory. Also at peak times, if I had 3 SB Radios streaming at the same time I doubt my bandwidth would hack it. It would cost very little to add a tuner and make the SB radio a perfect Kitchen and/or bedroom device.
