1) the quickest way is to press and hold the power button, so the Radio goes completely off (not just standby). Then you'll need to turn it on again (at least to standby) before the next alarm. The completely blank screen is your best visual clue you need to do this.
2) It has been months since I've used my Radio as an alarm so my memory is fuzzy, but either press the volume knob or the large navigation knob. One is snooze and the other is turn off that alarm.
