Hello I am experiencing an intermittent problem where one, and only one, particular radio station constantly rebuffers (ie every few seconds) making it impossible to listen to.
That one station is SR1 (Sveriges Radio 1 - the Swedish public broadcaster) I can immediately switch to other stations, Swedish and non-Swedish, and they play perfectly. I can also immediately play music from my SBS server which is mainly ALAC CD rips, again without buffering issues. But switch back to SR1 and the rebuffering problem returns. Typically the problem resolves itself later in the day though I have yet to find a pattern to when the fault does and does not occur. I have so far put this down to be an issue with the station itself as it is the only instance to show this problem, but it now happens so often I'm not sure I can continue to assume that. Also, in my debugging, I have now realised that the problem only appears to occur with my SB Radio. Regarding my setup: I am using a SB Radio and a local debian-based SBS server (7.5.4). The server is wired to my router, the Radio operates wirelessly - but as noted I can immediately switch to playing lossless tracks or other stations without issue and therefore consider it extremely unlikely that I am hitting a wireless reception issue. (Wiring the Radio would be problematic which is why I have yet to try that given the intermittent nature of the issue). This is also the only problem I have had in 2-3 years of using SB - a happy user so far Perhaps someone has experienced similar or has some suggestions?
