I'd be interested in any further feedback on your question too.

I also have set my SBR with 2 alarms and if I'm not mistaken (always
difficult to remember what you do just as you're waking up!) I end up
leaning over and pressing the power off button when the local radio
(1st alarm) comes on. Then the foghorn (2nd alarm) kicks in... :(

I must look into the workaround suggested by ttodd1... would save me
having to switch off the radio. Sounds daft when I type it out like
that, but that's what I've ended up doing every morning!

As a minor aside, the other thing I've wondered about is if there's a
way to change the volume of individual alarms. I quite like the idea of
nice, soft, gentle "nearly time to get up" music drifting around the
room. Followed by a loud blast of a foghorn when you REALLY have to get
up! As far as I can see, it's one volume control.

Love the little alarm clock overall, wandered upstairs the other
weekend to hear synchronised music blaring from the SBRs in my two
daughters' bedrooms...!

Hopefully someone else can chip in with any other thoughts regarding
the alarm behaviour

All the best
