The easiest way is to install Squeezebox Server 7.5.x on a computer and
connect the Radio towards it, it will prompt you do downgrade the
firmware.

Just make sure to get an official 7.5.5 release and not the 7.5 nightly
build, there is currently no firmware available for the 7.5 nightly
build so it won't downgrade your Radio. You will find the official
7.5.5 release here:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/SqueezeboxServer_v7.5.5/

Also, remember that as soon as you connect the Radio towards
mysqueezebox.com you are going to be requested to upgrade to 7.6 again
(since mysqueezebox.com is based on 7.6). So downgrading to 7.5 is not
a very good solution for people who is using mysqueezebox.com instead
of a local Squeezebox Server.

Also, I believe the issues mentioned earlier today in this thread was
caused by mysqueezebox.com problems and not by 7.6 firmware.
