Thanks for your thoughts. I've tried the factory reset several times,
waiting it out in case something was going on in the background, and
leaving it off for days (weeks, even) before trying again.

I haven't contacted Logitech yet, because I'm in Canada and bought all
my Squeezeboxes from Solutions AV in Ontario. He's responsive enough
when you're buying, but I can't get him to respond now there's a
problem. Shame, I was thinking of buying a Duet while he still has
some...
