If you want to actually listen to a program before your add it to your favorites list, you can go directly to TuneIn (http://tunein.com/)which acts as the source of the Radio's internet stations and listen there.
You can also download the TuneIn app. If you set up a TuneIn account, you can add your favorite shows as TuneIn presets which will appear on your Radio.
