I didn't think the BBC applet was available in squeezebox server and I don't really want to have to remember to connect to mysqueezebox to use the alarm. I tried saving the stream as a playlist which isn't as easy as it sounds, I had to add a track to the playlist in order to get into the playlist screen before I could save it! Using this playlist as an alarm didn't work at all. The fallback alarm sounded and when I stopped the alarm the current playlist was empty. I am going to try using the random song mix as an alarm to see if that works.
