Ok thats probably me having such simple and oldfashioned router myself. much of the never stuff have old kinds of " features " that does not really help with such a thing like setting up the network, feature overloading stuff is the modern way. Who want's " guest networks " and " familly filters " in the router ? it was probably the " auto " word that got me suspicius :) it may work fine ( or not ). There could be all kinds of propriotary settings in routers designed to make " faster wifi " that only work well the same brand wifi adapter in the pc etc :-/ .
