Signal strength that varies between 25 and 80 % suggest an unstable wifi connection. The SB Radio has a pretty good wifi radio. In my setup the Radio is the unit who is the furtherst away from my AP and it has 100% signal strength while my SB3 indicates 85% (and is closer to the AP). The unstable wifi can be caused by the huge traffic which is likely on your network. First test is indeed to check if you still have re buffering issues with all laptops off. Check the signal strength again in that situation.
