Welcome. :) I'd suggest you create two free online accounts, one each at: www. MySqueezeBox.com www.TuneIn.com
You will be connecting your SqueezeBox Radio to the free online server MySqueezeBox.com (MySB.com). Most of your interests will be provided from the App called TuneIn. Most everything within the Radio's menu item of Internet Radio is provided by TuneIn, but if you install the TuneIn App on MySB.com you will gain extra features to help customize your radio streaming. Also check out the many free Apps on MySB.com which also include some great talk related stations from CBC, BBC, etc... If you go to the MySB.com web site, click on Remote Control and start poking around to get an idea of what is offered. They even have an entire Talk Radio menu item including NPR. Using this Remote Control your computer will not play the audio, but it will get you familiar with the layout.
