Hi I would be really grateful if someone could answer some nebie questions that I have. I am torn between the Roberts 83i or the Logitech Squeezebox Radio. I would prefer the squeezebox though!
Just can't seem to find definite answers to these general items anywhere... Can you listen to podcasts and listen again programmes without a local PC switched on? i.e. Can you select podcasts and listen again content from the radio and it will stream it straight from the internet? For the above (podcasts and listen again) will I need to install special software on the radio? Also, I plan to connect the radio via an ethernet connection. Are there issues with dropouts using this method when listening to internet radio stations / podcasts and listen again content? I currently have a Pure Evoke flow that is flaky to say the least - not sure if this is because I am using a wireless connection. Think it probably is.
