LMS will stream video. The issue with the video streaming is that the
format of the video file needs to match a video format supported by the
device playing it. So if your device doesn't support MPEG4, then trying
to play an MPEG4 video file on it will fail. There's no realtime
transcoding of video files to change a file from one format to another.

Realtime transcoding of MUSIC files via DLNA is supported, since this
capability already existed in LMS, because not all Squeezebox players
support all music formats natively.
