Let's not worry about mysqueezebox.com end of life before there at least are some kind of indication that Logitech plans to shut it down.
At the moment, as far as I know, there is no indications that Logitech plans to shutdown mysqueezebox.com, quite the opposite actually, they are scaling it up to be able to handle future load: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=686760#post686760 Why would they scale up mysqueezebox.com if they planned to shut it down ? Why would they scale up mysqueezebox.com if they planned to terminate Squeezebox development ? There is no reason to worry at all at the moment, maybe it was a few months back but certainly not now. If mysqueezebox.com would be shut down, there would at least be issues with: - Premium streaming services - Users who don't like a computer to be powered on while listening to music - Artwork on online content on Radio/Touch/Controller (mysqueezebox.com is used for artwork rescaling of online content) - Automatic firmware updates For people that only use the system to play local music via LMS/SBS on a computer, it would more or less continue to work as it does today.
