I think it's manufacture defect for the newer radios. I have 3 radios at least 6 months old without the problem. I bought another one last November that had this problem. I called Logitech on Jan and they sent me a replacement. The new replacement still have the same problem. Then my 9 year old boy asked me how I made the screen of my radio look so cool. I told him it came that way, either by design (new feature) or by mistake (defect). So we swapped radios now.
