My wife just got this SB Radio from her parents. I started the configuration tonight and ( lazy as I am ) I refuse to 'read the f*cking manual', therefor I was stunned that I couldn't telnet/SSH into the device per default. Now, after Googling my way to this post, I finally managed to click my way to 'enable remote connections', and now it works a charm. I assume the Squeezebox application for Android won't be free of charge, but now at least I can turn the darn thing off using 'shutdown' over ConnectBot (Android SSH client). Perhaps there's also commands to turn volume up and down?
