I do the same. And on some SB devices, the best way to do this is to first temporarily turn OFF the DHCP server in the router, then do a re-setup on the SB player. If your router is 192.168.1.1, and dhcp starts handing out addresses at, say .100, then you'd have the following fixed ip address for a player: IP: 192.168.1.25 (this .25 could be anything between .2 and .99) Subnet: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 DNS: 192.168.1.1 any 1 digit #'s above can be entered in SB players as 001 if needed (i.e., 192.168.001.001 -- garym *Location 1:* VB Appliance 6TB (1.10) > LMS 7.7.1 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Location 2:* VB Appliance 3TB (2.0) > LMS 7.7.1 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win7(64) > LMS 7.7.1 > SqueezePlay Retired: SB3, Duet Receiver Controllers: iPhone (iPeng), iPad (iPengHD & SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.7 on Win7(64) laptop Ripping (FLAC) - dbpoweramp, Additional Tagging - mp3tag ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94002 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
