AFAIK the implementation by just a few routers of WPA/WPA2 does confuse the radio.
Here in the UK, the router provided by BT (the largest ISP) is now the HomeHub 3. Its default mode is to use WPA AND WPA2. Unfortunately there is a mismatch between the hub and the radio, and the radio sees this as WEP (not sure how). In consequence, it won't connect. The solution for many was to go to HomePlugs (the powerline option rather than WiFi). In theory, switching the hub to WPA2 only or even WPA only should solve it - but there seem to be other issues as well! Hope this might help anyone with a Radio and a HH3. Wired connection is the way to go (or HomePlugs). There was a thread about this somewhere else, but its kinda old now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ asdti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38467 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94496 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
