Sounds probable. 

Quick how-to: Pre-heat the iron to full temperature, then heat one
solder joint at a time, until it becomes blank & shiny, that means it's
melted. (You'll probably also notice that it stops being solid.) ;) The
soldering iron must reach full temperature before you do it, because
then the process will be quicker, which in turn means you're less likely
to burn/damage the Radio; you want to heat the solder and let it cool
again before the solder transfers too much heat to everything else.

There are probably two or three solder points at the power intake. After
you've done them all, test to see if the problem's gone.
