The messages always say "update" even if it is a downgrade. It's an
annoyance, but something that SB users get used to.

The bigger question is why does it want to update/downgrade/change the
firmware? Are you switching between mysqueezebox.com and Logitech Media
Server (LMS) running on your computer or NAS?  The SB player firmware
version is matched to the server version, and generally mysqueezebox.com
is running the latest official release, which is currently 7.7.2. If you
have LMS 7.7.1 running on your computer, then you will get prompted for
the firmware update/downgrade/change every time you switch between
servers.

You only need to connect to mysqueezebox.com when your own LMS server is
off, because all of the features available on mysqueezebox.com are
available via LMS as well.
