Update...while I still cannot connect via the wired Ethernet connection, I can (and did) connect via my next door neighbor's unsecured wireless router.
There is nothing wrong with the wired Ethernet connection to the Radio, so obviously Logitech has screwed up something. Given that a lot of others are reporting the same or similar problems I can rule out a bad SB Radio.
