One more time-- When you find a station on a list that you want to add your favorites. BEFORE you press the Play button, press the + button. A dialogue box will appear. One of the choices is "add to favorites". Scroll down to "add to favorites" and press the big knob. The station will play and be added to your favorites.
The mistake that every new person makes (I know because I did) is to press the + button while the station is actually playing.
