For the Radio they can probably say to users that they need to "upgrade" to UE Smart Radio firmware as a solution to avoid warranty returns, but as Michael mentioned earlier in the thread this won't currently work for the Touch so due to this it's probably likely that they will try to keep mysqueezebox.com running at least for the next couple of years.
Except for this I would also advice anyone still thinking of selling their SB hardware to wait a bit.
