I'm not using the LMS, purely radio (and Spotify if it only would not crash my SB Radio all the time), so I went on with this approach and 'updated' as described. Works great, I hoped the Spotify add-in would be better than the one used in the 7.x firmware version. Shocked that after trying Spotify, the SB Radio rebooted several times, so no improvement here.
