Which remote control do you mean? The one on the web interface? Which App do you use? In iPeng, to change the registration go to the list of players (should come automatically whenever no player is being found, otherwise swipe right on NowPlaying) and then press the blue ">" details arrow to the right of "MySqueezebox.com.
For the Logi App I'm not so sure, I would try to uninstall and re-install it.
