Similar things are happening here in Switzerland. According to my wife,
the radio was still working this morning before 07:00 CET, however about
an hour later the wireless connection symbol was red and nothing worked
any more. Tried restarting the router as well as the Squeezebox several
times and connecting it to wired Ethernet, but nothing did resolve the
issue.
My firewall shows that the Squeezebox is desperately trying to open
connections to various IPs, all on TCP port 9000, however all of these
attempts keep failing. Looking even closer at those IPs, all of them
belong to Amazon EC2 datacenter in Dublin.
I am confident that this outage will be resolved ASAP, however I am
disappointed that an external incident at the device's manufacturer can
completely stop my device from working.
No idea what to do now :-(
