This is on Linux based SBS and Classic3 players Apologies if this is already known, but having moved from 7.3.4 to 7.5.4 recently I came across a problem where I would not set the preset buttons. in 7.3.4 there was a hotkey= in the favorites that seemed to work and was editable via UI In 7.5.4, my presets were working but I wantd to change them, I could not acheive this thru favorites, even if editing the favorites.opml file manually. I do know that the presets can be seen in the server.prefs file under the PRESETS: label but it's a bit of a faff shutting SBS changing prefs teh restarting SBS
Whilst fiddling with holding down remote buttons, discovered that apart from long hold which selects a preset either from switched off or switched on (I knew this already as this is how I use presets) very long hold sets the current 'now playing' as the preset - This can be confirmed by checking the server.prefs file and yes... it has updated it. Note that AFAIK the remote presets are not per player, ie one server setting across all players MAYBE, this is documented somewhere and everyone knows it but who reads manuals these days and it's been driving me up the wall for quite a while. For me though it is a great feature to be able to quickly change presets. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TheBean's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96460 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
