Hi there. I'm using an SB radio conneted to a FreeNAS box and am having constant problems wit the signal dropping when the unit is turned on. It will work fine, then I will turn it on one day, and there is no signal - the wi-fi symbol in the bottom right of the screen is either blue or red.
Sometimes simply reconnecting it to the network does the trick, other times, it can't find the network and I have to restore the system to factory settings. Other times, it tells it has connected but freezes on the 'connected' screen (the one with the big blue circle). At this point, I have to turn it off from an iOS controller... Either way, it's an annoying and fairly common problem. I don't have a particulary ludicrous wi-fi: a laptop, printer, iPhone, iPad, SB Touch, Boom & Radio are the main devices.
