Hi, Unlike some reports I've read here, my Squeezebox radio's alarm triggers reliably but I have one problem:
After the alarm triggers, and sometimes, but not always, after a few "snoozes", I typically want to turn the radio off completely. I hold the power button, it says goodbye but then it starts up again. After it has booted, I hold the power button again, it says goodbye again and this time it stays off. I like to turn the radio off manually rather than wait for it to power off automatically because I've found the battery lasts longer this way. It also makes sure the alarm won't go off and bother anyone the following days if by any chance I'm going to be out of town. It's a little frustrating to have to wait for a complete boot cycle before the radio will stay off. I would love to be able to just turn it off once and be done with it. I am running firmware 7.7.2r9663 on hardware version 5 and connecting over wireless and dhcp to mysqueezebox.com. Does anyone know if I can fix this behaviour, maybe by using another software version?
