These forums are a great way to discuss problems, get solutions, and at times just vent about frustrations with our gear. And that's what they're great for. I've used them myself for this purpose. But because of this, they're often not used just to say what a great piece of equipment the Squeezebox Radio is. I got my first one over 3 years ago, and recently bought a new UE Smart Radio. I got it Friday afternoon, and within 15 minutes it was on, converted to Squeezebox software, and synced with my original Squeezebox.
I've had a few frustrations with my Squeezebox Radio over the years, and from the advice I got on this forum, as well as Logitech technical support, my issues with my radio were dealt with. I've had hours and hours of fun with my Squeezebox, and I even bought one for my 78 year-old mother who also loves it. Sometimes I'd like to get on this forum and just read about the fun others are having, and the neat things they've discovered they can do with the Squeezebox. But I also learn from the question and answers of folks who are experiencing difficulty, so I browse through them also. I just wanted to say thanks to Logitech for a terrific product. And by the way, while supplies last, you can get a UE Smart Radio for $99 from Amazon or Crutchfield.
