I have two Radios. One started having problems with not getting good connection where the power plug inserted in to the back. I ended up taking the Radio apart and fixing the problem. I had a replacement jack but was able to fix it with a little solder. It has been working fine now for a year since the repair. The 2nd one is about a year newer and one day I came on and it was off. I thought it was a similar issue but I took it apart and found that the jack was in perfect shape and that the ~18V was making it on to the little "daughter board" and also making it down to the main board. However I am having a hard time tracing where the power is routed from that point. On the working Radio those electrolytic capacitors near the bottom left (when viewing from the back...just below the daughter board) have 18V and (I think) 1.5V on them. On the dead one there is no voltage there. So if I had some idea of where the power was routed from where it comes on to the main board I might be able to fix it. Has anyone on here ever worked on the circuit boards of these? Thanks.
